FRESHERS' DAY

A very fun filled day for the students where the first academic batch is introduced to the Garden City family. Organized by the seniors, this day leaves an indelible impression on the student's life in the college. Students gently walk up to the podium, introducing themselves to the rest of the GCC family. This is followed by many entertaining programs, interactive games and events which make the budding minds get adhered to the new environment. The Freshers' Day also helps the young ones to get rid of homesickness, a very natural phenomenon.

TEACHERS' DAY

The occasion to pay homage and respect to the mentors who lend their hands always for the welfare of the students, diligently imparting knowledge and education, and moulding the students' future. In it's modern day resurrection, the Guru Shishya tradition is now venerated after the chief architect of India, Dr. Radhakrishnan, an eminent teacher and former President of India. The day of his birth is taken as a reference point to recall the deeds of our teacher and to honor the profound relationship that exists between the teacher and the student. GCC on it's part leaves it to the students to make their teachers' day as memorable as possible.

PARENT-TEACHER MEETING

Where parents of all the students are invited to share concerns of their wards with the teachers...
Where the parents have a platform to receive first hand information on their wards' progress from the faculty...

The PTA meetings are held regularly bringing together parents and teachers, offering the parents an opportunity to get first hand information on their ward's performance at the college. The concerns of the parents if any are addressed during these sessions.
