Dear Gardenian, Greetings from Garden City College. Hope you and your family are in the best of sprits and good health. Our college has been on a steadfast growth and has achieved several milestones under the dynamic and able guidance of our beloved Chairman Dr. Joseph V.G. We are sure you must be aware of the alumni meet “REUNION” we organize every year. The memories of the last alumni meet on the occasion of the ‘Founder’s Day’ also the birthday of our beloved chairman on 18th June, 2007 still lingers on in my mind. Gardenians from all across the country took time to reunite with their friends and teachers to cherish the memories of their college life. Those who could not participate for the Re-union 2007 made their presence felt through the telephonic conference, which was aired through “Campus Radio”. There was a collective request from the Gardenians to the Chairman that if it was possible to conduct the Alumni meets in various parts of the country so that they could meet him and share their thoughts about the college. Since our Chairman has already committed to the Gardenians that he will be at the campus on the Founder’s Day waiting for them to meet him. As such it would be inapt to conduct the Reunion else where other than the campus on the Founder’s day. However chapter wise alumni meet in various regions would be considered in this “Reunion”. The news to rejoice is that our Chairman has taken GCC to a different stratum from others by planning an ultra modern GCC Township. He has also agreed to have three chapters of alumni association in different parts of the country. We would open the Delhi, Kolkata and Bangalore chapter shortly for the benefit of our friends in north and east India. Hoping to meet you at the “Reunion 2008”.
