Introduction The humdrum of monotonous life enthuses the individual to break free and go out to explore the unseen. This yearning of the individual to venture out to new places is the fuel to the ever growing tourism industry. This 2 year program aims to prepare young minds for challenging managerial opportunities in tourism industry. The program provides a sound knowledge and skill relevant to the hospitality industry. Course Information The MTA course is a 2 year program. The course offers the opportunity to candidates to include elective subjects from a variety of disciplines. Every student is encouraged to undergo a 2 month summer internship in a reputed organization under the supervision of a faculty member. Some of the subjects covered during the course of study include Indian History and Culture, Tourism Principles, Policies and Practices, Business Environment and Legal System, Accounting for Tourism, Sustainable Tourism, Tourism and Information Technology, Methodology of Research, Tourism Finance, Indian Heritage, International Tourism and Ticketing, Public Relations Transport Management, Destination Planning and Development, Hotel and Restaurant Administration, Event Management etc. |
