The Bangalore University follows a semester pattern. The examination pattern is also semester based. However, admissions are only on the annual basis ie., the Bangalore University will admit students only in the odd semesters and not in the even semesters. Although the enrolments are open throughout the year, you can book your seats well in advance thereby avoiding last minute disappointment.

AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) New Delhi, Govt of India is a professional technical body that recognizes Technical and Professional courses. The courses that fall under the purview of AICTE in GCC are BHM (Bachelor of Hotel Management), MBA (Master of Business Administration) and MCA (Master of Computer Application). These three courses are affiliated to Bangalore University and approved by AICTE.

In order to verify eligibility and to approve admission to the desired course, Bangalore University requires the original certificates to be verified. As such students wishing to pursue undergraduate programs have to submit the following documents: • Marks Card of Secondary Education (10th standard / O level with 5 pass / equivalent) • Marks card of higher secondary education (12th standard / A level with 2 pass / equivalent) Transfer Certificate (not applicable for international students) issued by the concerned Board (Govt. body). Character Certificate issued by school/college. Migration Certificate [not applicable for international students]issued by the concerned board (Govt body). Students wishing to pursue post-graduate programs have to submit the following documents: • Marks Card of Secondary Education (10th standard / O level with 5 pass / equivalent) • Marks Card of Higher Secondary Education (12th standard / A level with 2 pass / equivalent) • Marks Card of Graduate Program • Transfer Certificate issued by the concerned University. Our Placement cell follows a systematic approach of grooming the students to appear in campus interviews. They have to register in advance at the Placement Cell. The Bangalore University has a specialist team that regularly updates the syllabi. However, there are limitations since the University is very big. As such at GCC, we have the Department of Strategy and Development that looks into this affair. We have regular interactions with International Universities and Education Bodies that are involved in innovating teaching methodologies. Hence the syllabus that is offered at GCC is always at par with international standards.

Our Chairman believes in providing equal opportunity to aspiring students from any background. That is the reason we do not have entrance test while selecting students. We stringently follow the eligibility norms as prescribed by the University (refer Eligibility under all courses). However, we conduct the Garden City College Entrance Test (GET) to assess the language, general knowledge and aptitude of the student while completing the admission formalities. This enables us to classify students on the basis of their aptitude in order to provide further assistance.To pursue MBA the candidate has to appear for CMAT (Common Management Admission Test)and MCA the candidate has to appear for KMAT (Karnataka – Management Aptitude Test).

The scholarship is based on the performance of the candidate at GCC and not on previous qualification. The students are assessed from day one. It is not just the academic factor but the general involvement of the student that also counts. GCC is a multifaceted Institution with several avenues to excel. The performances of the student in all these sectors are considered while offering the scholarship.

GCC provides all requisite documents for processing a bank loan from any Nationalized Bank in India. In case of certain banks that require information on their Proforma, the same is also provided. GCC has an in-house branch of Syndicate Bank with ATM facility. GCC has an e-commerce payment gateway of Federal Bank through which the parents can transact provided they have a Federal Bank account.
