Garden City College organized a Mega Job Fair on 10th and 11th of July 2010. 41 companies belonging to different sectors like Pharma, Healthcare, IT, ITES, BFSI (Banking, Financial Services and Insurance), Retail and Hospitality participated. The job fair had over 1500 vacancies to be filled. Among the participating companies, Biocon Limited, British Biologicals Limited, HCG Oncology, Apotex Research, Chemosyn Limited, Strides Arcolabs Limited, Modi-Mundipharma Private Limited, Bioplus Life Science (Pharmed Group) represented the Pharma Sector. Manipal Hospitals, Recoup Hospitals, Redapple Health Solutions, Omega Healthcare represented the Healthcare sector. The hospitality sector was represented by Golden Landmark Hotels, Zuri Hotels, Evoma Hotels, Parkfield Resotels and Apnasapna Holidays. The IT/ITES/BFSI sectors were represented by Wipro, Infosys, Tata Consultancy Services, HP, Microland, Unisys Global Services, First American (India), India Infoline, Karvy Stock Broking,BIT Mantra, Triumph India and Fidelity Business Services. The Mobile Store, Seventymm.com,Eureka Forbes, Mandovi Motors, Ramel Industries, HBL Global, Helix Technologies, IndiaMart, IMS Learning Resources.  Fresh Graduates and experienced applicants from all over Bangalore and other parts of the state participated in the Job Fair. The job fair was inaugurated by Mr. Murali Manohar, Director - Sales (India Operations), Fiorano Software Technologies. The participating company officials were felicitated by His excellency Dr. Joseph V.G., Honorary Consult for the Republic of Maldives and Chairman, Garden City Group of Institutions, Bangalore.
