Renaissance - 2009

The 2nd edition of the MBA Fest, Renaissance 2009 was held at the Garden City College Auditorium on October 31, 2009. More than 600 MBA students from over 50 Management colleges from Karnataka and other states participated in this one day event.

Datuk Manimaran Anthony, Executive Director Maruwa Malaysia Sdn Bhd, was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Mr. Pratap Hegde, CEO & MD, Telematic 4 U Pvt. Ltd., Mr. Avinash Vashistha, Chairman & CEO Thulons and Dr. Joseph V.G., Chairman Garden City Group of Institutions spoke during the event.

Datuk Manimaran Anthony was conferred with the Garden Global Leadership Award, an initiative of the Garden City Group of Institutions by Dr. Joseph V.G., who is also the Honourary Consul for the Republic of Maldives in Bangalore.

The students were involved in various competitive activities. Prof.V.B.Coutinho, President Governing Council, Garden City Group, delivered the inaugural address and Dr. Sarita HOD MBA presented the vote of thanks. 'Management Edge'a Management Journal was released on the occasion.
