Garden City Lagoon is a division of Garden City Foundation (P) Ltd. Garden City Foundation (P) Ltd has been leased the Vengiahnakere lake for 15 years with necessary approvals for development of the lake. Facing the National highway (NH4) for more than a kilometre it is a centrally located lake at a close proximity from the heart of Bangalore city at Krishnarajapuram. This is one of the lakes which is umpoilt with the advent of concretization of Bangalore city. The lake has an excellent charm with two islands surrounded by lush greenery and a lovely water body. The total area of the lake is 26.26 Hectare and about 75% of this property is a water body. Garden City Lagoon has been entrusted with the beautification and development of Vengiahnakere Lake.

Garden City Lagoon is developing the lake as a water sports and amusement park thereby promoting tourism both local and national. The investment proposed for the project is approximately Rs.4 crores to 5 crores. The lake project will have the following unique special features namely.

Development and beautification of the lake is progressing at a fast pace and the facilities are expected to be thrown open to the public shortly.
