With a robust professional background having enormous experience in the field of Sales and Marketing for more than 12 years, Prof. Reji Meprathe has chosen to share his expertise and follow his passion in the field of academics. His stint with GCC is since 2011 where he is currently posted in the capacity of Dean – Management Studies.
He has done his Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Full time) from the Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar in the year 1998.
He joined the Garden City College in the year 2011. He started his career as Sales Officer in J.K.Tyres and Industries Ltd, Bangalore. Within a span of 5 years he was promoted as Area Manager. He has worked in various markets covering the entire East India. From December 2007, he was associated with CEAT Tyres as Regional Manager, Karnataka.
His key strengths are innovative pedagogy, zeal of continuous improvement, training and developmental activities which are indeed the essence of every successful academic environment.
He is a hard core Sales and Marketing Professional with good subject knowledge of marketing. He teaches Organizational Behavior, Marketing Management, Advertising and Brand Management, Rural Marketing, Retail Marketing and Industrial Marketing. He has attended many national and international conferences, workshops and training. He has attended 6 days In house training program at IIM Bangalore on “Emerging Leadership Program.” As a part of consultancy work, he has delivered lectures for the Trainees of IPIRTI (Indian Plywood Institute & Research Technology of India) on marketing with special reference to the Plywood Industry.
