Reji Meprathe B.Com, PGDM (Marketing), is presently a Reader, Department of Management Studies Garden City College, Bangalore. He joined the Garden City College in the year 2011. Prior to joining this institution, he was working as Lecturer in the MBA Department, Kristu Jayanti College. He has done his Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Full time) from the Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar in the year 1998. He started his career as Sales Officer in J.K.Tyres and Industries Ltd, Bangalore. Within a span of 5 years he was promoted as Area Manager. He has worked in various markets covering entire East India. From December 2007, he was associated with CEAT Tyres as Regional Manager, Karnataka. He is a hard core Sales and Marketing Professional with good subject knowledge of marketing teaches Organizational Behavior, Marketing Management, Advertising and Brand Management, Rural Marketing, Retail Marketing and Industrial Marketing. He has attended many national and international conferences, workshops and training. He has attended 6 days In house training programme at IIM Bangalore on “Emerging Leadership Programme.” As a part of consultancy work, he has delivered lectures for the Trainees of IPIRTI (Indian Plywood Institute & Research Technology of India) on   marketing with special reference to the Plywood Industry
