As an academician,Ms. Nagadeepa is a good teacher, mentor and guide. She is highly enthusiastic, energetic and self motivated.  She goes out of her way to help students toachieve their educational goals in a creative environment. She is techno savvy with the abilities of structured planning and execution of technical and administrative assignments.

She is currently pursuing her research work on Impulsive Buying behavior of customers in Retail Markets.  She has been awarded with two Masters’ Degrees, one in management and another in Commerce. She has completed MBA and MCom from Periyar University and Annamalai University, respectively. She has also completed many certificate courses both in Accounting and Computers.

Her career as a faculty in Management department started in Shanmuga College of Science and Management studies, Tiruvannamalai, later continued in MVJ College of Engineering, Bangalore and landed at Garden City College. With 13yrs of vast and rich experience in teaching, she is serving both Commerce and Management department at Garden City College.

She has presented many papers in different national and international seminars.  She has won “Best Paper Award” from Golden Valley Education Trust KGEF. She has attended many workshops and training programs.  She has bagged one of the highest awards in Bharat Scouts and Guides - “RASHTRAPATI GUIDE AWARD” which require a mastery of Scoutcraft and leadership and the performance of community service.

She is highly skilled in training and development. Her organizing skills helped in all departmental, and college level administrative and cultural activities most efficiently. She has pioneered in motivating students and her colleagues, to lighten their knowledge and skills. She is exceptionally good at computer related works.

The areas of her academic interests are – Taxation, Accounting, Finance and Retail Marketing, etc.

She is very artistic in nature. She does cloth paining, model making out of waste or fancy materials. She loves trying different styles of cooking. She is avid movie watcher.
