He completed his MCA and M.Phil from Bharathidasan University, Trichy, He is pursuing his Ph.D from the CMJ University, Shillong. He is presently Dean of Computer Science in Garden City College, Bangalore. He joined Garden City College in the year 2004.

He is a Member, Board of Examination for MCA, Bangalore University and many Deemed Universities and Autonomous Colleges. He has compiled a study material on “Microprocessor and its Application” for Bharatidasan University. He is conducting technical skills training for “Campus Connect” Infosys program. He is also a certified ISO 9001:2008 auditor for quality system.

Before joining Garden City College he worked in St.Joseph College, Bangalore for six years, and also worked as a Head of the Department of Computer Science, Bishop Cotton’s Women's Christian College for two years.

He has presented several papers in Mobile Computing. He was Coordinator for M.Phil Distance education program in the year 2003 and has guided many M.Phil students for Bharathidasan University, IGNOU, Bharathiyar University,Manonmanium Sundaranar University, and Periyar University in the field of computer science.

 His areas of interest are Systems Programming, Assembly Language Programming, Mobile Computing, Data Base Management Systems and Linux Shell Programming.
