Introduction

Genetics is the study of heredity and genes. The study of genetics has great relevance in the present situation considering the innumerable diseases and deformities in humans that disturb the mind of the modern man.

The study of genetics also affects and impacts plant life in general and agriculture in particular. Modern Genetics offers vastpotential for the welfare of the human society as a whole by trying to eliminate human genetic diseases, increasing food production etc.

This graduate program provides the student with a broad understanding of the science of genetics and prepares the ground for a solid foundation in the said subject. This study opens doors to an in depth study of matters that affect human life and ignites in him/her a small spark that could billow into a great flame which can pervade human life in a positive
