Introduction
The study of biological systems including living cells and cell components combined with technology makes up this course. The study of biotechnology leads to
developing effective process in matters that directly have an impact on human life like agriculture, medicine and food industry. This program is designed to equip the students with the scientific engineering and business skill necessary for pursuing a career in biotechnology. The program endows the student with the scientific skill and knowledge to pursue a deeper investigation into the various interesting topics in biotechnology. The students may also opt to take additional modules in computing and business studies as a means of broadening employment prospects.

B.Sc. Biotechnology is a 3 year graduate program which offers a broad understanding
of biological and engineering principles of issues that relate to agriculture, medicine
and food industry. The program places a major emphasis on practical work. Some of
