Entry Requirement

A Bachelor degree with a minimum of 50% in the aggregate or any graduate with 50% marks working with TV Channel, TV / Film production houses.

Introduction

This post graduate program prepares students for careers in electronic media. The new trends and development in media are taught in order to equip the students to be eligible for specialist jobs at various media houses. The course content is comprehensive and is in tune with the latest industry standards. Electronic Media has a wide reach and is therefore much more powerful and influential than the conventional media. This also calls for caution and requires personnel who are well versed in the futuristic technologies and techniques. This is a 2 Year, course covering Introduction to Mass Communication, Writing for the Electronic media, script writing for TV Radio etc, Basic Production Techniques of handling camera, general awareness of production roles, Media, Society and Culture, Graphics and Animation, 3D modeling, TV and Development, Production of News Bulletin, Advertising and Corporate Communication, Media Research and Media Laws and Ethics. The students also undertake research for a documentary and produce their own documentary during the final semester. Various other projects are also undertaken during the course..
